恭喜素研6位学员入选 Sigma Xi 2021年国际科研展

在今年3月份截止的 Sigma Xi 科学荣誉学会国际科研展上，素研实验室的6位同学入选 showcase 环节角逐最后的评奖。在这里，我们简单介绍一下这个建立于1886年的世界学生科研组织。科研荣誉学会（ΣΞ）Sigma Xi 是一个非盈利性的科学家和工程师荣誉学会，由初级教师和少数研究生于1886年在康奈尔大学成立。成员根据他们的研究成就或潜力选出其他人。诺贝尔奖获得者已有200多名Sigma Xi成员，其中包括阿尔伯特·爱因斯坦，恩里科·费米，莱纳斯·鲍林，弗朗西斯·克里克，詹姆斯·沃森和约翰·古登纳夫。
Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Honor Society (ΣΞ) is a non-profit honor society for scientists and engineers which was founded in 1886 at Cornell University by a junior faculty member and a handful of graduate students. Members elect others on the basis of their research achievements or potential.More than 200 winners of the Nobel Prize have been Sigma Xi members, including Albert Einstein, Enrico Fermi, Linus Pauling, Francis Crick, James Watson, and John Goodenough.
